This is a family baby shower for John's first grandchild. Jill & Will are opening baby gifts. Emma Jane Southard was born Fall 2008. Uncle Joe is her Godfather. Olivia Leigh Southard was born Winter 2010.

1953, Johnny was in 1st grade. Miss Polly Walker was his teacher. When Betty started school, she had Miss Douggie Sleadd (Helen Douglas Sleadd Rice) for 1st grade.
Courier Journal Paper Boy
Johnny delivered The Louisville COURIER-JOURNAL for 5 years. Daddy also helped him get fresh farm eggs to sell and deliver personally to our neighbors. During high school, he worked at Beck Garrett's Chevron station in Middletown. This painting is on display at Louisville's Speed Museum. CLICK on the photo to learn more about this artifact.
